Brian is a founding partner, having started the firm in 1992. He has over 20 years experience in the field of Commercial Litigation, both in the High Court and County Court, and he also advises on various forms of alternative dispute resolution, such as mediation.
Brian has a wide ranging client base, from sole traders to PLCs and major financial institutions. He takes pride in the fact that he continues to be personally involved with his own cases and not just in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Brian’s relaxed and personable approach is appreciated by his clients and contacts alike. He is always willing to talk openly and freely about the practical implications of disputes (including the awkward question of costs) and, at the same time, offer an early assessment of the merits of a particular case, before his clients find themselves drawn into potentially lengthy and expensive disputes.
Brian is married with three children and likes to wind down by playing tennis or tootling on his tenor sax.
David joined Addlestone Keane in 1995 and, in addition to his role as Director, he now heads the Commercial Property Department. He has built an enviable client base of both corporate clients and high net worth individuals through his insistence on providing a bespoke personal service, which focuses on practical and commercial advice.
Short timescales need to be met for more urgent transactions and are readily achieved, which frequently assist our clients in gaining a commercial advantage.
David is married with three children and enjoys watching rugby and coaching junior rugby (sometimes!).
Philip is Head of the Debt Recovery Department. He has in excess of 15 years’ experience in this area having commenced his career with a large firm of solicitors in Leeds. He acts for both commercial and consumer organisations, including a number of well known PLC lending institutions.
Philip has a tough, no-nonsense style which is increasingly sought after and, as such, he continues to attract new business and build on his achievements.
Philip has gained a wealth of experience in the key areas of Debt Litigation and Enforcement. In addition he provides advice to Insolvency Practitioners, directors and individuals in relation to both corporate and personal insolvency issues.
Away from the office, Philip enjoys playing football but now prefers to lead the firm’s five-a-side team from the sidelines as coach/manager.
Philip is married with a little girl but despite his family commitments he still manages to enjoy the occasional beer after work from time to time!
Sally joined Addlestone Keane as a trainee solicitor in 1999 and upon qualification chose to specialise in the field of Commercial Property. Following a brief stint at another firm, Sally re-joined the firm in July 2011 much to the pleasure of her colleagues and clients.
Clients appreciate Sally’s no-nonsense approach to issues and her very personable manner.
Outside work, Sally considers herself to be a bit of an all-round “action girl”. In the winter months she’ll be off snowboarding and in the summer months she’ll be mountain biking or running up hills. She does however continue to be a complete lightweight when it comes to post work drinking sessions!
